    Our Misson and Values
  • Trinity Mission Statement

To glorify God through Jesus Christ our Savior and make Christian disciples of all people by boldly and lovingly preaching, teaching and witnessing the true Word of God in the Waukesha area and the world.

    Trinity Vision Statement

We believe the Bible is God’s Word in its truth and purity. Each member reaches out to un-churched friends, relatives, and neighbors and invites them to hear the Gospel message (John 3:16) proclaimed at Trinity.

We support our congregation through the first-fruits of our time, talents, and treasures. Recognizing God’s generous blessing in our lives (Psalm 24:1), we passionately share His blessings inside and outside the congregation.

We provide a complete Christian ministry from cradle to grave, supporting specific groups (i.e. children, teens, singles, couples, families, seniors) and the congregation as a whole. Our ministry is centered upon the Word and sacraments through worship, education, Bible study, spiritual support, fellowship, and service opportunities.

We utilize Trinity Lutheran School to assist parents and guardians in fulfilling our God-given responsibility to prepare our children for heaven and a God-pleasing life on earth utilizing the power and motivation of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God.

We encourage our members to develop Christian relationships beyond the structured activities of the congregation. These relationships support Christ-centered lives and encourage members to take an active part in The Great Commission.

    Our Congregation
  • Our Congregation

We are a Bible-believing, Christ-centered congregation that shares the good news that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world (John 3:16). Our idea of a church is a family of Christians growing together (2 Peter 3:18), glorifying God through worship services, Bible classes, and service opportunities. We invite you to grow in your Christian faith and serve your Savior Jesus with us.Since 1887, the members of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church have reached out to the Waukesha community with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our church membership currently consists of about 1900 baptized souls and about 1500 communicants. Since 1892, our members have operated Trinity Lutheran School with a current enrollment of about 230 children. In 1994, our members opened a Christian daycare, Trinity Lutheran Child Care, for children ages 2-6 years old.

Our members are served by 3 full time pastors, a school faculty of both full and part-time teachers, church and school secretaries, as well as many committed lay-people who thankfully serve their Savior
    Our Beliefs
  • Our Beliefs

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is a caring Christian church of men, women, and youth who believe that:

The Bible is God's true and inspired Word, without any errors (2 Timothy 3:16).
    • God is Triune, that is three distinct persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) in one divine being (God) (Matthew 28:18-20). We believe that God is the Creator and provider of all things (Psalm 145:15-16). He made us and will judge each of us according to our faith or unbelief in Jesus (Mark 16:16).
    • All people are born sinful (Psalm 51:5), and naturally carry out their sinful desires. We believe that the only thing we deserve from a righteous and just God is His temporal wrath and eternal punishment (Romans 6:23).
    • The greatest evidence of God's love for us sinners is seen in the Biblical accounts of Christmas (Luke 2:10-11) and Easter (Luke 24:6). God loved this world of people (John 3:16) so much that He gave His one and only son, Jesus, to be perfect for us (2 Corinthians 5:21) and to die in our place (Isaiah 53:6) at the cross as the full payment for our sins. We believe Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday (Matthew 28:6), proving His victory over sin, death and hell (1 Corinthians 15:20).

"It is by grace you have been saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8-9) and that "faith comes from hearing the message" ...through the words of Christ: (Romans 10:17). All this is ours as a free gift. God invites and even enables us to believe it for our eternal salvation (1 Corinthians 12:3).
