  Philosophy of the Center

The philosophy of a childcare center will dictate all of the programs and activities that are provided for the children. Therefore, it is imperative that parents become familiar with the philosophy behind the center in order to understand the focus of the program.

The TLCC philosophy can be summarized in the following statements:

  • Each child is a precious gift from our loving God.
  • Children need to learn about their Savior Jesus so that their faith will grow.
  • Young children learn best through play and doing.
  • TLCC strives to build relationships with parents that may result in their attending our church and joining our congregation.

In early 1994, the pastors, administration, and members of Trinity Lutheran Church identified the need to provide a quality, Christian childcare for the members of the congregation and community. With much hard work, planning and determination, TLCC opened its doors on August 23, 1994.

Since 1994 our goal has remained the same: to provide quality childcare in a loving, Christian environment. We believe that a warm, nurturing, and safe environment will encourage children in their development of a healthy, positive self-concept.
